Advantages of online lab-style lessons for adults:

  • You can learn from the comfort of your own home!

  • No recitals to perform in

  • You only play in front of other students when YOU choose to

  • You learn from both the teacher AND from other students

  • You can make new friends

  • More fun because of the energy of the group AND different games can be played in a group versus in private lessons

2) Online Lab-Style Lessons For Kids:

What: ONLINE Lab-Style Lessons
Who: Classes for ages 6-18
Schedule a free consultation for more info

Details:

These lessons are for students who want to learn piano on a more casual basis or who may be too busy for consistent practice. Practice is strongly encouraged, but never required. Students are welcome to perform in student showcases (recitals) but it is never required. Students who excel at Lab-Style Lessons will be considered for private lessons, if/when interested.

Advantages of online lab-style lessons for kids:

  • Kids learn from the comfort of their own home and on their own piano

  • Parents can easily listen in on the lessons at any time

  • Parents AND kids save time by not having to travel to and from lessons

  • Students learn from both the teacher AND from other students

  • Healthy peer competition helps increase practice at home because students want to come to class better prepared

  • Students can make new friends and tend to continue lessons for a longer time because of their friendships and camaraderie with others in the group

  • More fun because of the energy of the group AND different games can be played in a group versus in private lessons

  • Students learn in the same format as so many of their other activities: regular school classes, sports, dance, gymnastics

  • Students are more comfortable playing in front of others because they’re doing so in every class (when they want to). This makes it so much easier to perform in front of an audience when they are ready to AND it helps them reduce anxiety with important life skills like job interviews, presentations, and leadership roles

  • Students learn cooperation and communication skills which have become greatly diminished by technology these days
